Movistar, Vodafone, and Orange have invested heavily in 5G across major cities, and even places like Valencia, Seville, and Bilbao have strong LTE. Spain is one of those countries where you can just grab an eSIM plan and not think about it.
If you're island-hopping between the mainland and the Balearics (Mallorca, Ibiza) or the Canary Islands (Tenerife, Gran Canaria), EU roaming rules mean your Spain or EU plan works everywhere with no surcharges. One plan covers the whole country, islands included.
